In diamond terms, the less color a diamond has, the better and more valuable. Most diamonds have a yellow or brown natural tint to which is described as the color. Even though it might not look like a color at all, the very slightest tint will affect the value. Diamond colors start at D (colorless) and go all the way to Z (light). THey are set in catagories from colorless (D, E, F), near colorless (G, H, I, J), faint (K, L, M), very light (N, O, P, Q, R), and lights (S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z).
